Theme: MineCraft !

This week’s theme was given by my 7yo son – he wanted music from Minecraft!

Since I couldn’t provide any music from the game that my audience would appreciate, I found songs with words I have learned from Master 7 – plus I created a great list of standard words from the game. Unfortunately very few key words have been used in song titles nor band names. Yet I did find a few…

  • She’s Not There – The Zombies
  • Creep – Radiohead
  • Computer Games – Mi Sex
  • Off and Running – the Mindbenders
  • Naked Flame – Midnight Oil
  • Flame Trees – Cold Chisel
  • The Flame – Cheap Trick
  • Eternal Flame – Bangles
  • Are You Old Enough – Dragon
  • Hungry Town – Big Pig
  • I Am in Love With the World – Chicken Shed
  • The Name of the Game – ABBA
  • Play the Game – Queen
  • Mind Games – John Lennon
  • Wicked Game – Chris Isaak
  • This Used to Be My Playground – Madonna
  • 24k Magic – Bruno Mars
  • Magic – Cars
  • Everything Little Thing She Does is Magic – the Police
  • Thunder – Imagine Dragons
  • One of the Living – Tina Turner
  • Last Living Souls – Gorillaz
  • The Living Years – Mike and the Mechanics
  • The Living Daylight – Aha
  • Two Ghosts – Harry Styles
  • Ghost Train – Counting Crows
  • Ghost – Live
  • The Ghosts That Huant Me – Crash Test Dummies
  • Broken Arrow – Avicii
  • Friend is a Four Letter World – Cake
  • I Like to Score – Moby
  • Crystal Ball – Pink
  • Dream World – Midnight Oil
  • Fight from the Inside – Queen
  • It’s the End of the World as We Know It (and I Feel Fine) – Rem
  • Planet Earth – Duran Duran
  • Underground – Men at Work
  • I’m Waiting for the Man – The Velvet Underground
  • Underground – Ben Folds Five
  • Underneath the Radar – Underworld
  • I Will Survive – Cake
  • I Will Survive – Gloria Gaynor
  • Grace Land – Paul Simon
  • Foreign Land – Eskimo Joe

Yes, it’s a stretch to make some of these songs relate to Minecraft. Yet I bet you still enjoyed the music chosen. Leave a comment below if you did.
